"Auftakt" - Trio Vision

20.00

In its debut album, the Trio Vision musically explores the theme of beginnings. By presenting the first piano trios of Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms, the ensemble showcases two significant works in the genre. Hans Gál serves as a connecting link in this recording, representing Vienna as the starting point, catalyst, and hub of musical developments. The album features pianist Dorothy Khadem-Missagh, along with Vienna Philharmonic members Ekaterina Frolova and principal cellist Peter Somodari.

“There is much to enjoy from this debut recording by Trio Vision, …you might say they have a typically Viennese glow.” (BBC Music Magazine)

“These three players have a marvellously light and transparent ensemble sound, with Khadem-Missagh, in particular, articulating with a clarity that lets sunlight into even the busiest textures.” (Gramophone Magazine)
